The Church is a community based organization that currently meets as a house church in Crowley, TX. The goal of this organization is to resemble the church of the New Testament. Rather than a large congregation that meets weekly, the church desires to be a network of small gatherings that do life together.
The project involved a basic logo design that captured the simplicity and "christ-centered" message of the organization. The Circular "c" was intended to convey the church's activities operating around the cross. In straight line text, the word church was emphasized to contrast with many churches that highlight the name of the church, rather than the word "church ." Not only was this strategy indented to help our client stand out, but also to reemphasis the focus and mission of the institution. As a growing network, the client asked for a way to easily differentiate between locations, while retaining the overall brand consistency. We did this by adding a simple script based addition that can be placed below the organization name. |
